A beautiful distraction for the gray, cold and damp winter days is Per SCHORN's new Videoclip: 'A Day in the California Desert', which was produced in addition to the photo series already shown on GoSee all about the Californian desert. Per SCHORN realized a motif to think about for the client PFLEGEN & WOHNEN, of all places, in a Hamburg bathroom. The agency Brandmarke, which also supported the shoot on location with adviser Mel Buml and Art Director Marvin Detering, was responsible for the campaign concept. The somewhat extraordinary location was scouted by "Scout for Location". Model Peter was booked via 5&50 Casting, and make-up support came from Stephanie Trinkaus. For the automotive supplier VDO Automotive AG, Per SCHORN realized six image motifs. For the location he had access to a bright prestige workshop. After Per SCHORN discovered an impressive mask shop in the center of Berlin in September last year, he developed the series titled "animals among us". So far, four motifs have been realized in the series already, and more are planned. Styling was once again done by Jeanine Fettig; the final touches came from post producer Barbara Homolka. The publication of the first results led to an American band becoming aware of the series, who will use one of the planned motifs for their new album cover.

The agency Serviceplan One commissioned Per SCHORN to photograph the campaign for the ATE break system products of automotive supplier Continental IAM. The pictures were authentically realized in a partner repair shop in Frankfurt over two days. And to really guarantee the handcrafted quality of the motifs in the photographs, the workmen themselves slipped iinto the role of models. Per SCHORN photographed for the Innsbruck ski & snowboard manufacturer SPURART. The Spurart company has become specialized in manufacturing individually made-to-measure skis and snowboards for every customer. The shoot produced a series on the manufacturing processes in the Innsbruck factory, where each piece is made by hand.

Per SCHORN photographed each member of one of the most renowned cover bands in Hessen, the Groove Agents, in exuberant poses on stage. Maria Poursanidou applied the make-up on set of this personal production. The styling consisted entirely of the musicians’ stage outfits and Per Schorn carried out the post-production himself.

Per Schorn has been on the road in the South States of the USA for 20 days in search of backgrounds, people and scenes, to capture his impressions, portray people and document stories. He selected five small towns in Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Louisiana beforehand. He recently reached Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he shot images including two of a diner.
The subjects are street cast and asked if they want to join in a scene. So far he has been met with a positive response, even though a couple of people did end up shying away from the camera. The local …

In Frankfurt Per SCHORN revived ‘70s crime dramas as well as creating an ode to the ‘Sabotage’ video by the Beastie Boys. He portrayed carpenters after a hard day’s work from an unusual perspective. In this case his models were Micheel & Peter. Verena Wirth applied their make-up on location.
