About - Denis Ignatov is a child of the perestroika. He was born in 1988 in St Petersburg, Russia’s second-largest city and in terms of culture one of the most important cities in the world. He has been living in Dusseldorf since 1996. He’s tried many things there, but he always returned to photography. His path took him from being a photographer’s assistant to the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf and Dieter Eickelpoth, until he started working as a freelancer in 2010.
