German soccer player Klara Gabriele Bühl, born on 7 December 2000 in Haßfurt, is under contract with FC Bayern Munich at the moment. MICHAEL PHILIPP BADER shot her portrait for his personal work presented here on GoSee.News.
For the 2022 European Championship in England, Klara was called up to the squad by German national coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg. She started the first four games of the finals but couldn’t play in the semi-final and final after testing positive for COVID-19. In the final, Germany lost to England narrowly and finished as runner-up. Following the Euro 2022, Bühl was voted into the ‘Eleven of the Tournament’ by the UEFA coaching staff.
Alongside her career as a professional soccer player and a passion for crocheting, she finds time for a course in Media Management as part of the distance learning program at the International University of Applied Sciences (IU).
Michael Philipp Bader’s photography is focused on people, portraits and sports. He skillfully photographs athletes and their specific movements with his camera – for iconic and very special moments captured aesthetically amid this tough and extremely fast-paced environment both in the studio or on location.
