Welcome to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Superstudio, represented by photographer Patrik JOHALL and art director Par JOHANSSON travelled to Buenos Aires to creatively produce the current catalogue for fashion client NN.07. The concept: to snap the people they meet on a street in a city of their choice over the course of five days.
The label and the Superstudio team generally like to travel. ‘For us there are no borders or boundaries. No difference between people or countries. We are all the same. And we are all different. When we go on our trips we never know what's gonna happen. Who we are going to meet and what to experience. Just like life, we just let things happen and see what every day gives us.
This is time we went to Argentina. The buzzing city of Buenos Aires and the beautiful green vast countryside at Estancia Santa Domingo. There are pictures of our clothes. But most of all, there are all the wonderful people we met on our trip.’ We present the campaign images and the atmospheric making-of film.
Patrik JOHALL also shot a new summer campaign for client INTERSPORT. He travelled from Sweden all the way to Cape Town for the shoot. They carried out the production over the course of 10 days and in countless locations. See some of the results right here.
Also here on GoSee: the SUPERSTUDIO AERIAL CAM promotional video aka their current reel. They wanted to capture their expertise, accumulated in seven years of experience, with flying feature film cameras. Superstudio Aircam is a full service production company, which works worldwide to produce and deliver their beautiful aerial movies. And this is what they have to say about their great flight service: ‘but wait, says the man with the TV announcer voice…
..there’s more. Because what you do then is to take your Red Epic and put it in our own specially designed autonomous helicopter, complete with a jet motor, a turbo-prop engine, and a remote control set-up and take to the skies, Superman style. Ultra Hi-Def aerial photography run by hand held remote control. And if that’s not cool, then we don’t really know what is. Even cooler is what we do with all of our expensive toys once they’re up there flying around (besides making our accountant extremely nervous, that is).
Specially designed to carry feature film cameras with a minimum of vibration and perfect control (are you listening, Mr. Accountant Man?), our Aircam® helicopter can soar over towns and villages, swoop low over cars and buildings, get great landscape aerials and fantastic rooftop closeups, or whatever else your heart desires. So whether you’re interested in shooting a feature film, and advertising spot, or simply taking stunning aerial shots, the Superstudio Aircam® brings entirely new creative possibilities within reach – thrilling clients and creatives alike. And it’s way cool to play with.’
