The new F/W 2022 fashion campaign for HIRMER & ECKERLE was photographed by SACHA TASSILO HOECHSTETTER against the breathtaking backdrop of the nature park and glacier region Kaunertal in Austria. The rugged nature and the natural atmosphere inspired the brand to come up with the claim ‘Trust Your Nature’.

Creative direction was taken care of by Wunderhaus from Munich. And posing in front of the camera were male models Tony Thornburg and Martin Boyle, with grooming by Bert Kietzerow and styling by Marvin Unger. Production was in the hands of Instyle Productions GmbH, and GoSee Member BLINK IMAGING was in charge of digital support and post production.

Winter Lightness – features flowing cuts, monochrome looks, maxi coats and cozy knit pieces from trendy brands such as the latest smartwear from WINDSOR: 1980s silhouettes meet the laid-back style of today’s casual luxury.

Those who love the wide world of men’s fashion will find plenty to revel in at eleven locations throughout Germany: in one of the exclusive ECKERLE fashion houses. ECKERLE combines leading international fashion labels and highly specialized manufacturers for a first-class shopping experience. The HIRMER headquarters in Munich with its striking architecture is one of the most frequently photographed motifs in Munich’s downtown area.

Valentino, Marc Cain, Max Mara, BOSS, Prada, Karl Lagerfeld, Jil Sander, Victoria Beckham, H&M Studio, Giorgio Armani, Bottega Veneta, … French top model Ophelie Gillermand stood in front of the camera of Alex Waltl for a studio production in ELLE Germany. Styling was taken care of by Fashion Director Pia Leonie Knoll. ONE HUNDRED BERLIN took care of post production : “We couldn’t get a better fashion inspiration than this for the stylish summer in the city!”

After Alex Waltl completed his education as a photographer in Stuttgart, he first went to New York for three months, where he assisted photographers such as Annie Leibowitz, Russell James and several others in the years which followed. As a consequence, he was offered a full-time position in London as an assistant to Mario Testino, one of the world’s most sought-after photographers. Shortly after that, he became his first assistant and traveled around the globe with Mario over the next six years, producing large campaigns and photographing for the most renowned magazines. Since 2018, Berlin has been his home.
