Elliott WILCOX c/o MAKING PICTURES photographed British musician Tom Grennan for the cover spread of the S/S ‘21 issue of Rollacoaster magazine. The spread was realized in cooperation with the beautiful TOMMY HILFIGER project ‘Moving Forward Together’.
“Helping each other out is most important. More laughing and less frowning – then we’ll live in a better place.” Tom Grennan
Whether he’s shopping for neighbors during lockdown or volunteering for charity organizations for the mentally ill, after suffering from several severe setbacks himself, it’s important for Grennan to share his luck with others. Singer-songwriter Tom Grennan would like to give back to the community he grew up in. With little things or big things, he helps wherever he can.
Tom Grennan grew up in Bedford as the son of a construction worker and a teacher. He first pursued a career as a soccer player, only to ultimately study acting in London. During his studies, he taught himself how to play the guitar autodidactically as well as with YouTube, after which he started to perform in pubs. He was discovered there one evening by the record label Insanity and signed his first record deal. On 6 July, 2018, his debut album ‘Lighting Matches’ was finally released and reached number five on the British charts. His song ‘Little Bit of Love’ from his latest album ‘Evering Road’ is now in the charts. Amen.
