KENT & CO PRODUCTIONS produces the DOVE ‘Get Dove or Get Foamo’ campaign with photographer Benjamin Madwick for DROGA5 in Cape Town

The latest DOVE campaign, photographed by Benjamin Madgwick for Droga5, is focused on the natural beauty and diversity of women. For which, KENT & CO was in charge of production in Cape Town.

Women spend an average of a half an hour a week on their facial skin care, but only five minutes on their bodies. Dove would like to tip the scales of this imbalance and encourage women to rethink their body care routine. With the introduction of the new line of serum body washes, dove has set out to change the game. The campaign ‘Get Dove or Get FOAMO’ is aimed at raising awareness about high-end body care – and proving that skin below the neckline deserves just as much care and attention.

“To launch a new Dove body wash into a saturated market, we hit on the beauty industry’s pointed obsession with fear of missing out. ‘Get Dove or Get Foamo’ turns the superficial idea of fomo into a playful nudge to reconsider all the care and attention we give to the skin on our face (and not the skin on the rest of our body) by introducing a premium line of body wash with quality ingredients for facial skin care.” Maria A. Kouninski, Creative Director at DROGA5.

This latest work follows in the footstep’s of Dove’s ‘Real Beauty’ campaign series launched in 2004, celebrating authentic natural beauty and the diversity of all women and their bodies. Madgwick, who is known for his sensitive photographic style, creates an intimate atmosphere through his photographs, bringing the self-confidence and individuality of the women depicted to the fore.

Founded by Producer Robert Kent, this independently-owned company specializes in high-end stills and moving image campaigns for the fashion and advertising industries. Clients and collaborators include leading fashion brands, international creatives and advertising agencies.
