'No Taboos' - Linda SCHÄFFLER c/o VISUALEYES ARTISTS photographed for THE FEMALE COMPANY with STEFANIE GIESINGER

"Shortly thereafter, we founded The Female Company. With organic period products, whose cotton is free of harmful substances and developed in collaboration with gynecologists and midwives. Grown on certified plantations and with certified manufacturers. Over 250,000 customers also consider this "excellent." Ann-Sophie Claus and Sinja Stadelmaier, founders of The Female Company.
There's a mission behind their startup: With their company, run by women for women, they want to revolutionize the market for female healthcare, creating a world without taboos surrounding the female body. For THE FEMALE COMPANY, Linda SCHÄFFLER c/o VISUALEYES photographed model and entrepreneur Stefanie Giesinger – who joined THE FEMALE COMPANY as a partner in 2024.
"A few years ago, I was given period panties from TFC, which I tried out despite my skepticism. I was completely surprised by how comfortable I felt. All my worries about hygiene, smell, and comfort were taken away. When I first contacted Ann-Sophie from TFC, it was clear to me that I wanted to work with this brand. I'm not only convinced by the products and the attitude, but also by the people behind them." Stefanie Giesinger, model and entrepreneur.
The Female Company's concept is quite simple: The startup delivers organic tampons made in Spain via mail order using a subscription model. Their organic cotton is grown without chemicals or pesticides under high social and environmental standards. The tampon size mix can be individually selected – the packaging is designed by various artists.
Cheeky sayings like "Are you doing well?" are intended to break this taboo. For every subscription completed, another woman in refugee shelters is provided with sanitary products.
