CLAUDIA BITZER : KY&BA realizes CGI project in Thailand with the LOTUS ELETRE – the duality of raw untamed nature and this luxurious Hyper SUV
French photographer duo KY&BA took it to Thailand for their latest CGI project with the new LOTUS ELETRE. They set out to stage an exhilarating duality – raw, untamed nature paired with the luxurious Hyper SUV complete with racecar DNA.
The backplates were captured on the island of Koh Tao, and with a little help from GoSee Members FIXIP (post production) and MAGROUND (domes), KY&BA put together this project with the latest Lotus SUV. The result is the distinct fresh ambiance you’d expect from an automotive shoot.
“Generating new domes to match the Thai environment did pose a major challenge but wasn’t an issue in the end – collaborating with MAGROUND to create dynamic, impactful images using virtual rigs to ensure natural motion.
