Born 1971 in Hamburg, Germany

From an early age on Mike has been interested in everything that had to do with food. So after graduation form High-School he completed an apprenticeship as a chef at the Hotel im Wasserturm in Cologne, followed by stations in prestigious restaura ...morets in Germany, Italy and Australia.
Cooking alone wasn´t enough so, the results should also be noted. Thus, the photograph came into play. Since 2009, Mike worked as a freelance photographer with his own studio near Hamburg for commercial and editorial clients with a focus on the food and still life photography.
