About Mike Hofstetter Photography
Born 1971 in Hamburg, Germany
From an early age on Mike has been interested in everything that had to do with food. So after graduation form High-School he completed an apprenticeship as a chef at the Hotel im Wasserturm in Cologne, followed by stations in prestigious restaurants in Germany, Italy and Australia.
Cooking alone wasn´t enough so, the results should also be noted. Thus, the photograph came into play. Since 2009, Mike worked as a freelance photographer with his own studio near Hamburg for commercial and editorial clients with a focus on the food and still life photography.
