With the release of the new version of Midjourney’s AI image generator, V6 alpha, at the end of December and the new, now 11th, version of the Corona rendering engine, what could be more natural than to combine the best of both worlds?
Digital artist PATRICK SALONEN tells us about the personal work presented here on GoSee : “These motifs are not to be taken all too seriously, but they do show the enormous possibilities now at our fingertips which we can use as a precision tool.”
Patrick Salonen Bildbearbeitung GmbH was founded in December, 2003, by Patrick and Barbara Salonen, and has provided comprehensive services for the post production of images since January, 2004. Complex compositions and challenging retouching for well-known clients have been part of their daily work ever since.
With campaigns for clients such as Audi, Volkswagen, Deutsche Bahn, DHL, Credit Suisse, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, Subaru and many more, the studio has made a name for itself in Switzerland and beyond.

Since 2021, Coca-Cola has invited the world to celebrate the true magic of humanity.
“The ‘Real Magic’ brand philosophy is rooted in the insight that magic lives in unexpected moments of connection that elevate the everyday into the extraordinary – a timeless wisdom that feels more relevant than ever in today’s hyperconnected yet divided world. Real magic happens when people get together and when what we share in common is greater than what sets us apart.” Coca-Cola.
The Coca-Cola campaign presented here was photographed by Tom van Schelven, with Hamburg-based RETOUCHED STUDIOS in charge of post production.
“This is the most diverse visual representation of the Coca‑Cola brand in our history. It is diverse not only with regard to the creatives who have helped bring ‘Real Magic’ to life and the people featured in the work, but also in terms of the various photography and illustration styles, colors and treatments used.” Rapha Abreu, Global Vice President of Design, The Coca-Cola Company tells us about the ongoing campaign.
