EDITORIAL ‘DeLorean’ fashion editorial for TM MAGAZINE (01/2023) by PER APPELGREN

01.02.2023 • The classic combination of fashion & cars can also be interpreted with plenty of modern flair – as can be seen in the latest story by GoSee new entry PER APPELGREN with the iconic DeLorean and Mirthe c/o Parker MGMT.

“The car is an exact replica of the original 1980s DeLorean used in Back to the Future, including all the gimmicks we know from the movie. The owner, rent-a-moviecar, built it themselves and imported the parts for it from the US. Using the car as the backdrop for our shoot was just perfect for today’s 80s craze. The photos were shot at ZVEI Studios Düsseldorf,” Per tells GoSee.

Styling was taken care of by Jennifer Kalaitzis, with HMU by Eva Pilartz (light by Lukas Vogt, assistant: Jana Rodenbusch, production by Kristin Walzel, post production by Colorworkz, car by rent-a-moviecar).

EDITORIAL Swarovski x BMW - an industrial reportage by Roderick AICHINGER c/o KRISTINA KORB for the Looping Group

31.01.2023 • The new BMW i7 crystal Iconic Glow headlights were manufactured with crystals from Swarovski. Crafted to deliver a light effect like never before, this is premium automotive display at its finest. A partnership as unique as this provided new creative challenges for the BMW engineers and Swarovski product developers alike.

Roderick AICHINGER c/o KRISTINA KORB photographed the reportage for Swarovski x BMW. “I shot the making-of film for the Swarovski Crystal headlights for the all-new electric BMW i7. The headlights are not all poured by hand – which one of my pics might imply (only prototypes and pre-run samples). We had to wait 7h for the opportunity to shoot the casting of one crystal by hand – the time it took to melt the special glass. In full-scale production, this is done mostly out of view by high-tech machines,” the photographer tells us about the shoot.

“The focus of this collaboration with BMW was above all on the mastery of crystal-cutting to create a seamless integration of expertise in an alignment of passion between two world-renowned brands,” says Peter Widmann,...
