14.11.2022 • Lars BORGES c/o EMEIS DEUBEL was commissioned by Optimist to photograph an image pool for the new SKODA KAROQ. Which is why the transportation & people photographer went on a road trip to Slovenia and Croatia – and now presents us the dynamic SUV in atmospheric photos here on GoSee. Thanks to its striking SUV look and inner values, the vehicle is just as practical as it is sensational.

TRANSPORTATION JEFF LUDES directs and photographs for the SUBARU ASCENT and Designory in the US – ‘Love is now bigger than ever’

09.11.2022 • JEFF LUDES and his team spent four days with the Designory crew in Southern California where they realized stills and videos with the SUBARU ASCENT. On two of the days, they chased the ASCENT in an arm car, with DP Jerome Wald III at the controls and Jeff in the director’s chair. The other half of the shoot was dedicated to stills, with Jeff covering a variety of action, static, interior, and lifestyle shots. It all took place under a veil of secrecy to avoid leaking the updated model from Subaru.

‘Love is now bigger than ever’ is how SUBARU describes the new model. With flexible seating for up to eight passengers, the ascent can take the whole family along on every adventure. The Ascent is built in the United States for long-lasting quality. 96 % of Subaru vehicles sold over the past ten years are still on the street today according to the manufacturer.

Also on the team were Creative Director Scott Izuhara, Art Director Wil Conerly, Art Buyer Lisa Matthews, Assoc. CD Terry Prine, Exec. CD Steve Davis as well as stylist Mark Auria. Production was taken care of by Anne Tower.

TRANSPORTATION ‘How to Keep Cool’ - STEFFEN JAHN shows us how the Wet Mode of the Porsche 911 works at the Hockenheimring Porsche Experience Center

07.11.2022 • Jumping around in puddles might be fun for kids – but laying in a giant puddle and being drenched in water by a Porsche is totally next level. Transportation photographer Steffen JAHN slipped into his sailing duds, waterproofed his camera and got wet and wild on a hot summer day. The result : dramatic photos of the Wet Mode for a big splash – check ! With post production in the hands of Tom Stein / 617 digital.

“The vehicle uses miniature microphones in the front wheel arches to detect a wet road and warns the driver about the risk of aquaplaning. Wet Mode is then activated via the Drive Mode button on the steering wheel. In Wet Mode, the response behavior of the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) systems is preconditioned,” instructor Gina Jobes tells us how the Wet Mode in the Porsche 911 works, pointing to the wet sliding surface of the Hockenheimring PEC. &
