Oliver VONBERG c/o DOUBLE T photographed various celebs, including Tim Mälzer, Bosse or Bjarne Mädel, who participated in the charity soccer game ‘Kicking with Heart’ in Hamburg on 8 September.
Photographer Olli Vonberg, a B-lister himself, was on the field, too, camera and all – as well as in the locker room.
KICKING WITH HEART combines 16 years of social commitment with a big dollop of family fun – and soccer fever. It’s a special kind of soccer game. Why? Because up against each other here are a team of doctors, aka the PLACEBO KICKERS HAMBURG, and a handful of handpicked celebs who call themselves the HAMBURG ALLSTARS – all for a good cause and that meanwhile for 16 years.
Besides loads of fun, the game, of course, and all the excitement – the reason behind KICKING WITH HEART is, however, a serious one: congenital heart defects are still the most prevalent hereditary disorder – and even though possible treatments have improved considerably in recent years, there is still much work to be done in terms of improving care for this very special group of patients.
“Together, we have made a big difference over the last years. Because of which it has been possible to purchase desperately needed equipment and implement crucial projects in the field of children’s cardiology,” Prof. Dr. Tom Mir, Deputy Director, Head of Cardiogenetics and Congenital Aortopathies, specializing in pediatrics and adolescent medicine as well as pediatric cardiology, says on behalf of the entire team.
