Internationally renowned photographer CHRISTIAN ANGERER has just staged the new campaign for INTERLIVING FURNITURE with popular actor Henning Baum in his cinematic signature to create feel-good imagery.
The shoot took place in extraordinary locations, including a plateau floating on picturesque Lake Wörth in Bavaria as well as a box studio in the city – shining a spotlight on the furnishings and kitchens from Interliving with a previously unseen aesthetic in the commercials and key visuals.
Embracing the claim ‘My Style’, Henning Baum shows how stylishly furniture can be presented in unexpected scenarios. Henning Baum was immediately thrilled about the campaign: “As soon as I read the concept, I could feel that a captivating story was being told – inspiring and dynamic at the same time. Christian Angerer has an incredible eye, and I knew right away that I was extremely lucky to be working with him – because it meant that the campaign would have style and class. The pictures look so cool!”
The campaign is comprised of six spots, key visuals, and behind-the-scenes clips as part of the comprehensive 360° communication of HUCKLEBERRY FRIENDS AG. For which the network team combined all key components: from strategy and concept development, to captivating storytelling, and high-end production of the spots and photo motifs. In addition, the team covered the entire online and media strategy, focusing on in-house resources such as Munich’s NEW WESTPARK STUDIOS to ensure the audio production was of impeccable quality.
Christian Angerer, in the media business now for 35 years, is just returning from a film and photo session in New York City, where he has once again brought his creative vision to life. He emphasizes: “In a city like New York, you need real eye-catchers – otherwise, you simply won’t be seen. Advertising has to be bold and turn heads; if not, it’ll fall flat. Consistent, brilliantly told stories are the key to the success of every brand.”
Angerer stresses how important it is to have an extraordinary team, without which such creative visions couldn’t be brought to life. However, he also emphasizes that boldness and foresight on the client side are just as crucial if you want to create extraordinary campaigns. ‘A strong team is the bedrock, but if the client is not bold and visionary, you’ll have a hard time trying to push boundaries.”
Particularly the collaboration with Managing Director Frank Stratmann as well as marketing and brand management experts Katja Sladky and Jessica Biondi was described by Angerer as cutting edge. Together, they have taken this campaign to an entirely new level while telling an unmistakable story – that shines a spotlight on the Interliving brand.
