Although the BOS digital radio network for all authorities and organizations concerned with public safety plays such a crucial role in saving human lives, it is still relatively unknown to the general public. To raise awareness for its importance as an essential resource, the German Federal Agency for the Digital Radio of Security Authorities and Organizations (BDBOS) launched a campaign.
Portrait specialist DARIUS RAMAZANI was commissioned by the agency familie redlich AG to create the motifs. This campaign with the title “Digital Radio Saves Lives” is focused on first responders from fire departments, police departments, emergency services, and authorities for civil protection and disaster control who rely on the BOS digital radio network.
“Our motifs don’t show models but instead real emergency task forces in Germany from DLRG, THW, JUH - St. John accident assistance alongside Berlin firefighters, Berlin Police officers, and Malteser paramedics. We want to show that behind the term digital radio network are not just machines but real heroes who make use of technology to save lives.” the agency tells us.
