64. No more and no less is the number of cars built for the AUDI RS6 SIGNATURE EDITION – in which tradition and innovation go hand in hand. From the classic forge founded in 1896 to the world-famous, high-end tuning workshop ABT SPORTSLINE – the most exclusive model in company history was launched for the 125-year anniversary.
Chosen to create the visual language of the Johann Abt Signature Edition, which is based on the Audi RS6, was transportation specialist DAVID MAURER.
ABT Sportsline GmbH is a family-run company founded in 1991 and headquartered in Kempten, which specializes in vehicle conversions, motorsport, and vehicle tuning for carmakers Audi, Seat, Škoda, Cupra and Volkswagen with a focus on modification of individual models, including sport suspensions, chiptuning or aerodynamics and visual mods. It also operates its own racing department. More than 170 employees work for ABT Sportsline at the headquarters in Kempten, and products of the company are sold in more than 50 countries worldwide.

About DAVID MAURER
Born in the midseventies, David Maurer took an apprenticeship as a photographer in a studio for car photography near Frankfurt from 1996-98. After assisting for various photographers in the field of people and transportation photography, he explored the world working on cruise vessels for 8 months, travelling to north polar region, to Antarctica and to south America. Coming back he continued assisting and started working on worldwide shootings, briefly interluded by a 10-month trip on his own to Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Asia. In 2008 David established his own business as a transportation, people, architecture and landscape photographer. Since then he is working for a continuously growing number of clients.
