Pascal SCHONLAU c/o EMEIS DEUBEL photographed the newest Ray-Ban Meta collection of smart glasses in London.
‘Hey Meta’ - The glasses are equipped with Meta AI as a conversational assistant that you can prompt simply by saying: ‘Hey Meta’. With only a few words, the new smart glasses can make calls, send texts, control features, and find answers to random questions that come to mind throughout the day.
Temple-tip speakers have higher max volume, double the bass, and better directional audio – so you can get lost in your podcast, playlist, or phone call without disturbing others nearby. The five-speaker setup provides immersive audio, which renders sights and sounds through your smart glasses exactly as you would experience them in person.
In the outer corner of each lens is a discreet, ultra-wide 12-megapixel camera that produces impressive images and videos. The improved cameras record 1080p videos of up to 60 seconds, which you can share with your contacts using AI and a quick voice command. Share your adventure in real time with the hands-free live-streaming feature.
This second generation of Ray-Ban Smart Glasses has been available from retailers in authorized regions worldwide since 18 October 2023. Upgraded features of the new model: there are now five microphones instead of one, and storage has increased from 4 GB to 32 GB, allowing for approximately 500 photos and about 50 one-minute videos. Camera resolution has also been increased from 5 MP to 12.
