Elevating Luxury through Masterful Still-Life Photography - Personal Work by Alain COSTA c/o LGA MANAGEMENT
Here at GoSee, we present a new personal work by Alain COSTA c/o LGA. He showcases intricate views of a Swiss luxury watch. TUDOR is a renowned Swiss watch brand founded in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf, the creator of Rolex. Today, TUDOR is celebrated for its precise watchmaking and stylish designs. Alain is a Paris-based still-life photographer and director, renowned for his mastery in showcasing luxury brands. With his expertise in lighting and creative compositions, he highlights the beauty of objects and textures. His work for brands like Rolex, Guerlain, Dior, and Cartier is distinguished by an elegant and technical portrayal of luxury and sophistication.
Alain got passionate about photography after a trip to London and he decided to make a career as a photographer. Obsessed with architecture and fine art books, he got interest in the still life photography and assisted a few renown still-life photographers in Paris. His own career began in the 2000’s when he started collaborating with stylists and artistic directors. Since then, his work has aimed at glorifying objects and textures with technical light effects that he masters and with his own creative compositions. Soon after he started shooting stills, Alain tried shooting moving images: after a first series of short still-life films for Christian Dior, he directed a digital movie for Cartier eyewear with much success. That was the beginning of a series of films orders from luxury brands for fragrances (Armani, Jil Sander, Guerlain, Dior), cosmetics (Guerlain, SK-II, Max Factor) and jewelry (Van Cleef & Arpels, Mercury…)
Alain is now renown in the industry for his technical skills and his ability to enhance the beauty of luxury objects and to magnify any texture. His work includes regular works with Rolex, Guerlain, Givenchy, Dior fragrances, Cartier, Mercury and campaigns for Guerlain, Givenchy beauty, Armani beauty, Jil Sander fragrances, Van Cleef & Arpels among others. He recently the TVC for the launch of Fusion d’Issey, the last masculine fragrance by Issey Miyake.
