WILDFOX RUNNING is delighted to welcome a new entry: Berlin-based photographer Janine SAMETZKY. As a thrilling introduction, we present her campaign for the tea-based beverage LIKE LOUIS which she photographed in Berlin for TRES BIEN GmbH. It advertises the beverage Euphoria: “It’s derived from euphoros, a Greek word that means ‘healthy.’ So, we say LikeLouis is Euphoric Tea because it’s a better alternative to conventional drinks. And it’s way more fun than a good old cup of Earl Grey,” says the LIKE LOUIS team.
Janine was born in 1993 in Paderborn, Germany, and is now based in Berlin. Her photographic emphases are on fashion and advertising. At the age of sixteen, Janine started an apprenticeship as a photographer, after which she moved to Berlin in order to assist several well-known professionals. Since 2020, she has focused mainly on her own photography, while continuing to further develop and expand her style. Janine is constantly inspired by faces, facial expressions and the soul behind them. Which is why she creates authentic and pure atmospheres often laced with a touch of weirdness – not so much in a strange way, but in a more contagious, flattering way that it feels like she’s writing a tribute to the person or object in front of her camera.
