GoSee 'Creatives to Watch' : ‘Alles vom Deinsten’ campaign - WAYFAIR and Jung von Matt turn the weirdest places into comfort zones

We were honored to welcome WAYFAIR at UPDATE Berlin this year – who came once again on the lookout for creative talent. And Creative Producer Iñigo Cavestany has the new campaign with two TVCs for us, which we are delighted to present you here on GoSee. Big thanks also to Anja Nord for the great communication.

Find beautiful furniture you’ll never want to Wayfair without again: It’s easy on wayfair.de. Jung von Matt Hamburg staged furniture from WAYFAIR, one of the world’s largest online-only home goods retailers, in the unlikeliest places. The 360° campaign ‘Alles vom Deinsten’ launched on 7 May and tells the tongue-in-cheek story of how wonderful it would be if, thanks to Wayfair products, our comfort zone was simply everywhere.

“We mean it when we say that truly everyone and anyone can create an ‘at home’ feeling for themselves anywhere with Wayfair,” says David Twehues, Chief Marketing Officer Europe at Wayfair. “The campaign illustrates why that’s so important: The furnishings in our homes are synonymous for us with happiness, relaxation, familiarity, comfort and so much more. In the wide range of high-quality products at Wayfair, everyone will find the perfect piece of furniture that gives them that unmistakable, genuine at home feeling.”

“We feel most comfortable at home. So we asked ourselves what it would be like if we could take that feeling with us everywhere we go. With these unusual images, we have found a witty way to further increase brand awareness with humor,” says Mirjam Wagner, Creative Director at Jung von Matt Hamburg.

Alongside two TV commercials, the 360° campaign also comprises assets across the following touchpoints: website, email, digital display, and social media (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube). The campaign rolls out on 17 June with OOH motifs in more than 90 cities across Germany.

To bring the situations to life, Wayfair and JvM brought American Director Justin Reardon on board, who made his big breakthrough in the advertising industry in 1999 with the Budweiser Whassup?! commercial. Responsible for photography was Tobias Gromatzki, having already photographed two ‘Alles vom Deinsten’ campaigns before.
