With its fundraising initiative ‘Förderpenny’, the discounter PENNY has been supporting children and young people throughout Germany already for many years.
The latest campaign motifs were photographed by Lina GRÜN c/o MONDAY IN MAY for the executive agency Serviceplan.
How it works? Just say ‘keep the change’ when you’re paying for your groceries at the cash register, and the amount on your shopping bill will be rounded up to the next higher 10 cents. The difference is then donated to the association near you. You can also donate your bottle deposit to an association for children and young people. To do so, simply put the deposit receipt stating the amount into the donation box next to the machine for returning bottles.
Penny is a German food discounter operating internationally with stores in Germany as well as in six other European countries. Penny Markt GmbH is headquartered in Cologne, and has been wholly owned by the German REWE Group since 1989.
