The photographer and director thrilled the jury of Art Director’s Club Germany with her work for the campaign and the exhibition concept OBJECT CARPET × Ippolito Fleitz Group. She was awarded the Silver Nail in the category ‘Photography for Brand Building’. The jury explains its decision: “It is an interplay of shapes, surfaces and colors. Each photo appears here clearly in its construction; the human being even becomes a geometric shape. The structure of the carpet is staged here in an entirely new manner, changing our perspective of materiality. It is product advertising full of irony – so abstract that it becomes art. This Dadaistic combination simply sparks the interest for carpets, and it’s just plain fun to try to get to the bottom of these images.”
Her client Ippolito Fleitz Group was awarded the coveted Golden Nail in the category ‘Hybrid Exhibition’. The jury explains here in a summary by Jochen Kortlepel: “The jury was thrilled by the work. A carpet exhibition for the Milan Design Week has been designed, which was preceded by three years of product development between the agency and the client. The wonderfully planned exhibition had to then be cancelled due to Corona. Without hesitating, the designers turned the exhibition into a photo studio and teamed up with the renowned photographer to create extraordinary photos which can be seen around the world. The photo studio ultimately became a virtual showroom featuring both impressive spectacular moving images and a digital 360° virtual tour. As the jury, we rolled out the carpet for the creatives, saying: Hats off!'
We present you the project including the film once again on GoSee.
