Gebr. Heinemann SE & Co. KG, founded in 1879, is a Hamburg-based business in the international wholesale and retail travel market. Since the 1950s, Gebr. Heinemann has supplied the new duty-free shops on ferries to Scadinavia with tobacco and sweets as well as spirits. In 1953 and 1954, the first airline clients would follow.
Today, Gebr. Heinemann is active in more than 90 countries. The company operates a total of 500 own retail stores in airports, on board cruise ships and at border crossings. In addition, the company supplies airports worldwide, airlines, cruise ships, border shops, chandlers, diplomatic representations, military shops and duty-free zones with international goods.
