ByWP is a stainless steel or beta titanium alloy collection by designer Wolfgang Proksch with a patented screw-free hinge solution. In 2003, he founded the company PM/D for the global sale of his brand ByWP. The frames with patented connection assembly, manufactured entirely using wafer-thin stainless steel, are in stock at optometrists across almost all Asian countries.

Designer Wolfgang Proksch, who resides in Germany and has an avid interest in design, fashion, architecture, furniture, automobiles, jazz, contemporary art, but is also a passionate autograph collector, first studied marketing. Following several years in management, he has enjoyed success illustrating for the legendary brand Bugatti.
He became a household name worldwide with a pair of sunglasses designed in the style of the number eight flipped horizontally. The first of which was purchased in a small shop in Sydney, Australia, and briefly caused a shopping frenzy in America. Why ? It was worn by the lead actress in the taxi scene of the first MATRIX film. It has since served as a prototype copied many times over in imitations of all shapes and sizes imaginable. During this time, the designer was more at home on the West Coast than in Germany.

Markus Brodbeck aka Brody started casting for some directors in 1997. Good scouting and casting work made Brodycasting successful. Numerous clients and campaigns found their face with Brodycasting. In 2001 Brodymodels was founded to give special talents a home and open doors to international partners. Ever since, a few brodymodels made their way into the fashion business. A locationservice called Platzverweis in Stuttgart/Berlin offers attractive architecture for any production since 2002 and showcases in the publication of the IF Design awarded 40 Räume Stuttgart and 40 rooms Berlin. New labeled Brodybookings brings Brodycasting and Brodymodels back together and brings up a brand new artist department featuring longtime professionels and hottest new discoveries. Brody is heading the company and three more bookers are supported by 2 trainees and scouts. Platzverweis is lead by Alina Franke and one more trainee and when neeeded, some free lancers.
