Cancer Survivors – the illustrated cover spread on living with cancer for the magazine EINBLICK by Isabel SELIGER c/o SEPIA
The German Cancer Research Center supports people in the prevention, diagnosis and therapy of cancer. In its own magazine ‘einblick’, or insight, it talks about how patients deal with the disease. They often suffer from physical, psychological and social consequences long after they have survived it. The magazine einblick is published three or four times each year and is available for subscription free of charge.
As an illustrator, Isabel SELIGER c/o SEPIA imagines what it would be like to be in the position of those inflicted and gives us a better understanding of what they are going through emotionally.
The German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg is a biomedical research institute and foundation incorporated under public law. Around 3000 employees investigate in more than 90 departments and junior research groups how cancer develops and identify cancer risk factors.
