Set Designer Cora VOHWINKEL is now represented by Munich-based HMS representation LES ARTISTS by Josef Stockinger. Cora’s main place of activity is... well, let’s say there are many : New York, Milan, Paris, and naturally, Munich.
About her path to becoming a successful set designer, Cora tells us : “Visual communication has always been my passion. From the moment I learned to hold a pencil (probably to draw horses), I have been deeply focused on all forms of visual expression. I studied art, photography, as well as visual and interior design in Milan and New York City.
My multidisciplinary education and professional path have allowed me to work as a freelancer since 2009. In 2013, I was awarded an O1 artist visa and started working in the US. My previous work experience includes stints as a photographer, stage designer for theaters, and prop stylist for the most renowned styling agencies.
For the past years, I have been working as a photo stylist and set designer in New York City, Milan, and Paris. In 2020, I started spending a good part of my time in Munich. I currently help several brands to develop their style, curate their catalogues and advertise shoots. I also offer set design and event design services, including booths for major trade shows across the US and Europe.”
Cora has already collaborated with numerous magazines and worked with several private clients on made-to-measure interior design projects. She occasionally gives keynotes and holds workshops with a focus on set design and interior design. Already among her clients are Alessi, Bentley Home, Bloomingdale’s, Blumarine Home, Bon Appetit, Canali, Diesel, Blackgold, Dorchester Collection Hotels, La Cucina Italiana, La Redoute, Malo, Maybelline, Moleskine, Orange Fiber, Patek Philippe, People Magazine, Pepsi, Roy Roger’s, Vanity Fair, …
