The POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair 2024 presents FASHION POSITIONS with 20 inspiring designers between fashion and art
At POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair this year, 111 international galleries from 24 countries are once again showcasing their most significant works in the areas of contemporary and modern art. A particular focus this year is on galleries from South Korea.
As a mirror of Berlin’s vibrant creative scene, fashion is, of course, a natural part of the POSITIONS Berlin Art Fair. The FASHION POSITIONS format showcases the dynamic intersection of fashion and art, creating a direct dialogue between 20 carefully curated fashion designers from Berlin and the art world.
Clothing collections by the artists are presented in open booths, while the designers share the inspirations and artistic concepts behind their work. Exploring the fair, visitors witness firsthand how the boundaries between art and fashion are obscured while their synergy grows. And if a particular brand catches your eye, feel free to visit the shop next door.
FASHION POSITIONS was initiated in 2019 by Kristian Jarmuschek, Mira von der Osten, and Olaf Kranz, and is organized with the kind support of the Senate Department for Economic Affairs, Energy and Public Enterprises.
The opening party will take place on 12 September with music by Son Of The Preacher Man. Doors open at 9pm.
