Sir Nicholas William Peter Clegg, born on 7 January, 1967, in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire, UK, is a British politician, who was Deputy Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 2010 to 2015. He also served as the leader of the Liberal Democrats from 2007 to 2015. After the party suffered great losses in the elections for the British House of Commons in 2015, Clegg resigned from office. In October 2018, he became Head of Global Affairs and Communication of Meta Platforms (formerly Facebook Inc.).
