Leila George D’Onofrio, the daughter of actor Vincent D’Onofrio and actress Greta Scacchi, grew up living with her mother in the county of Sussex. She took acting classes at several private schools and had her first big role in 2016 in the US TV movie ‘Mother, May I Sleep with Danger?’.
She gained fame through her role as Katherine Valentine in the film ‘Mortal Engines’ by director Peter Jackson. In 2019, she played the role of Sara Cutler in the western ‘The Kid’. That same year she appeared as Janine in the series ‘Animal Kingdom’.
In 2020, George married her thirty-year-older acting colleague Sean Penn. Reto photographed Leila George in the desert of Nevada, and the spread was shown in the magazines Deadline and Variety.
