Japanese makeup artist Anna Sadamori from SHOTVIEW created the beauty looks for the latest HEROINE MAG cover spread. The beauty and fashion editorial was photographed by Kenny Germé. In fashion focus is the innovative F/W ‘24 collection by designer Duran Lantink.
Anna is the epitome of cosmopolitan. Born in Cairo to Japanese parents, Anna spent her early childhood in Washington D.C. before moving to Tokyo as a teen. Anna developed a deep passion for beauty and began expressing herself through makeup and fashion early on. Her dream of becoming a makeup artist was born when she discovered the early work of fashion photographer Sølve Sundsbø. Upon which she decided to dedicate her life to fashion. Anna received formal training in makeup in London and Tokyo, and settled in Europe to broaden her creative scope.
As a makeup artist, Anna translates her multicultural background into her multifaceted makeup style. Her clients include Farfetch, Douglas, Dior, KaDeWe, Kway, Lacoste, Samaritaine, Roberto Cavalli, Zara, Zalando, Uniqlo, Aigle, Jean Louis David, Bioderma, Wall Street Journal, iD, Vogue, Dapper Dan, and many more. Anna lives in Paris, where she enjoys wine, cheese, and inspiring encounters.
