Artists Pool is an artist collective – uncomplicated, modern and, above all, approachable. Just like the artists themselves. “We are a collective from the areas of styling, hair, makeup, photography, set design, set support and creative direction. Each a specialist with profound expertise and a wide range of experience. We prefer direct contact and communication without the middleman or agency commission. For the first time, each artist in the pool can be contacted and booked directly – true to our mantra : ‘What you get is what you see.’” we’re told by hair & makeup artist Marco Hülsebus and Fashion Editor, Creative Director & Stylist Yilmaz Aktepe.
ARTISTS POOL is coming to UPDATE BERLIN on 25 May to present their services and looks forward to giving interested creatives, CDs, ADs, brands and art producers a better idea of their fresh concept and thrilling artists.

We’ll find the right spokesperson for your company who will perfectly showcase your products both behind and in front of the camera. As a teaser, ARTISTS POOL presents us their new Diane Arbus Special for BEST FASHION. “Diane Arbus inspired generations of creatives with impressive portraits. Focused on a society overlooked by the mainstream, the American artist payed tribute, as a pioneer of diversity, to the human experience. Fifty years ago, she passed of her own accord. Our homage to this visionary celebrates the artist’s loving melancholy perspective and the diversity of our world,” Yilmaz Aktepe, Editor-in-Chief of BEST FASHION tells GoSee.
The spread was photographed by Ralph Mecke, with creative direction and styling taken care of by Yilmaz, hair & makeup by Marco Hülsebus and Agnes Olszanski. Grit Brüggemann was responsible for the strong casting.
