“I’m drawn to what feels real—faces with stories, looks with edge, and moments that aren’t overly polished,” says Christiane, who will be presenting her work in person at the SHOWCASE during UPDATE-25-BERLIN. Her portfolio includes productions for brands such as Adidas, Adobe, Beiersdorf, Nike, L’Oréal, Maybelline, and Sony. She has photographed personalities like Lena Gercke, Leni Klum, Lena Meyer-Landrut, and Guido Maria Kretschmer. Her work has appeared in leading publications including VOGUE, ELLE, and Harper’s Bazaar.
In 2025, Christiane founded AKARI STUDIOS—a creative production company for photography, film, and concept development. With a strong network of creatives, she leads projects for agencies, brands, and cultural figures across fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. Before her career in photography, Christiane worked as a marketing expert in the industry—a background that continues to influence her conceptual and production approach today.
As a speaker and mentor, she regularly appears at industry events, gives workshops, organizes community-focused gatherings, and advises emerging creatives on launching their freelance careers.
