The 39th edition of the International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories - Hyères will take place from Thursday, 10 October through Sunday, 13 October 2024 at Villa Noailles. The exhibitions will be open to the public until 12 January 2025. Attending the event for GoSee.News will be Rolf Scheider, photography enthusiast.
Since 1986, the festival has been promoting and supporting young international fashion designers, offering a competition for emerging photographers since 1997 and a competition for new creators of accessories since 2016. The festival is considered the oldest competition for young fashion designers in the world.
The Villa Noailles, the original core structure of which was built between 1923 and 1925 in the Var department of Hyères, is the work of architect Robert Mallet-Stevens, with the support of local architect Léon David, particularly for the extensions and additions that were made up until 1933. It is located on one and a half hectares of land, 4 km from the sea, on the slopes of the Casteu hill overlooking the town of Hyères.
The festival, founded and directed by Jean-Pierre Blanc, is chaired by Pascale Mussard.
