British singer-songwriter AMA LOU from London is famous for her unique way of blending genres as well as her captivating lyrics and signature style. As an ambassador for Salomon Sportstyle, Ama was photographed for the Speedcross campaign at a place with which she has a special bond – a quiet ranch in Malibu. The campaign was photographed and filmed by Ben RAYNER c/o B&A REPS GERMANY, under the executive of Marion Presigny and Alex van Oostrum, Global Marketing Manager at Salomon Sportstyle.
The singer and Salomon Sportstyle ambassador fell in love with its calming, simplistic atmosphere after spending time there in 2020. When looking for inspiration for her music, she didn’t have to look far. Ama said she wrote her last album while visiting the ranch, and her song Tokyo Cowboy was heavily influenced by her stay in its calming environment. Exploring the natural space around her was a big part of her inspiration. Wearing Salomon’s Speedcross 3, she was able to scale the surrounding terrain to venture deep into nature.

Ben Rayner grew up in London. He landed his first job at the age of 19, shooting artists and musicians for magazines such as Dazed & Confused and VICE. Ben’s work has evolved to include fashion, portraiture, and lifestyle photography, creating work for the pages of Vogue, Nylon, Wonderland, among others. Ben’s strong connection to his subjects has enabled him to produce authentic, intimate images for every commission. Whether he’s photographing actors, musicians or models the likes of Felicity Jones, A$AP Rocky, Bella Hadid, Greta Gerwig, Lil Wayne, MGMT, Haim, Russell Brand, Mia Goth or Alexa Chung.
