For the accessories and bag line of the CHLOÉ Fall/Winter 2025 collection, Ilaria ORSINI c/o BIRD PRODUCTION photographed a minimalist series that bears her unmistakable signature: bold perspectives, subtle details, and a touch of cinematic poetry.
Italian photographer Ilaria Orsini’s nuanced and offbeat approach to fashion photography hails a new breed of photographers elegantly using angles, geometric forms and simple details to achieve striking results. Ilaria describes her style as containing a ‘hint of cinematic perception and a glimpse of modernity’. Taking in a variety of influences, from the films of David Lynch to the architectural details of Le Corbusier, her aesthetic balances beautifully between minimalism and lush detail, emphasising the sculptural dimensions of the clothing and her subjects.
Her spontaneity often leads to the fusion of chance elements in her work to create striking combinations: a traffic cone in the street, or a model walking across and out of the set. This characterises Ilaria’s approach to photography; working elements of the street, studio and interior into her shoots for Double Magazine, Interview Germany, AnOther Magazine and more.
Ilaria currently divides her time between London, New York and Milan.
