ADRIAN & GIDI present their latest project – a charming Christmasy animation created for BATH & BODY WORKS, starring a lovely little mouse named Nora. In this special holiday tale, Nora explores a magical, festive world – all meticulously crafted with paper.
The animation was created completely in CGI, for which real paper textures were used to give the world a truly authentic and handcrafted look & feel. Traditional cell animation techniques were combined to bring the paper character, Nora, to life.
The animation can be seen online as well as on the screens of BATH & BODY WORKS stores – spreading even more yuletide magic for shoppers to enjoy.
Adrian & Gidi, aka Adrian Woods & Gidi van Maarseveen, are a designer duo with a multidisciplinary creative studio in Amsterdam. Adrian & Gidi first met at the Royal Academy of Arts, from which they both graduated in 2010. Together with their talented team of designers and crafters, they cooperate closely with a wide range of brands and agencies to produce stunning creative content.
They take pride in realizing their clients’ vision from start to finish in a one-stop shop, with everything from art direction, production and craft, to photography and animation or even CGI and post production. From a single key visual or short film to a complete creative package, including social/digital, print and/or packaging.
Besides their love for the paper craft, they work with a wide range of other materials from time to time such as styrofoam, Plexiglas, miniatures, and wood. While most visuals are crafted by hand in meticulous detail and captured photographically, other projects are brought to life with digital animation or CGI.

About ANALOG / DIGITAL
Experience & multidisciplinary approach.
From the get-go we set out to create a production company that’s a bit different. Where no one medium is more important than the next. We’re a bit like that “slash” in our name – a bit hybrid if you will. Mixed-media experience and expertise is the core of Analog/Digital. We’re always on the look-out for what’s next too.
