JSR AGENCY welcomes Art Director and Illustrator Kezia GABRIELLA from Singapore on board. “She is known for her bold and vibrant approach which explores the topic of human connection through abstract shapes, powerful composition and quirky characters. Ever since leaving the advertising industry in 2019 to become a full-time illustrator, she has worked on a wide range of projects such as editorials, visual identity, and music videos, and has collaborated with multiple global brands including Apple, Nike, Ray Ban, Refinery29, Rimowa, and Selfridges.”
In an interview with It’s Nice That, her style is described as follows : While the colors and characters of Kezia's work change, one thing that remains the same is their energy, something which seems to stem from her restlessness and need to experiment. “The way I approach my works is ever-changing. I don't think I will ever be satisfied with just one way of doing things,” she remarks on why she constantly flips between techniques and media. This also applies to the kinds of projects she likes to work on. “I get excited when there is an open brief that challenges me to work with a medium that I'm not familiar with,” she says. “There's a beauty in not knowing how your work will turn out.”
She just recently illustrated topics for NIKE ('Help Your Kid Fall in Love With Movement') and a Father's Day Special for the SELFRIDGES website. Plus, her animated music video 'Float Away' for The Greeting Committee has been released.
