“This very special and rare bird well worth protecting, the southern ground hornbill, lives in the Vienna Zoo, aka Tiergarten Schönbrunn. Since April 2020, he has been the mascot of the Ambassador of Illustration and misses the number of visitors at the pretzel stand at the moment. We chose him as our mascot, not only because he is so photogenic, but also because he has such a communicative and confident character. We initially planned an event on location with our client which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to Covid 19 pandemic measures. Which is why illustrators CLARA BERLINSKI, THOMAS MADREITER, GINA MÜLLER, CORNELIA HEINZEL, and SARAH EGBERT EIERSHOLT portrayed this special bird by the name of Mr. Pomeroy.
We designed a POST CARD EDITION which we will gladly send you upon request. Mr. Pomeroy is of course happy about every visitor he receives, and just like all colorful birds of a feather from the AMBASSADOR OF ILLUSTRATION/carolineseidler.com, he prefers to be fed personally.”
