PAWEL FABJANSKI photographs the PORSCHE campaign with tennis star Iga Swiatek on commission for DDB Warsaw - ‘Dream in Full Color’

PORSCHE Poland and tennis superstar Iga Swiatek, two-time winner of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, have entered a partnership planned to span several years. The announcement of the cooperation was accompanied by a photo shoot by PAWEL FABJANSKI with the Porsche Taycan, inspired by the slogan ‘Dream in Full Color’, the theme of the 75th anniversary of the sports car built in Zuffenhausen, Germany.

“I have so much fun driving this car and, just like the Porsche brand, support the values and feelings conveyed by tennis. I’d like to spread them so that as many people as possible get to watch the sport and take part actively. Such partnerships are a good opportunity to infect people with passion and enthusiasm,” says Iga Swiatek.

The photo shoot, realized in collaboration with the agency DDB Warsaw, provided me with immense satisfaction, particularly because of the profound trust extended by both the client and agency. The photos reflect my personal style, encompassing the color palette, the interplay of light, and the expansive framing. Nevertheless, the indisputable highlight of the session was having Iga Świątek, the world’s number one tennis player, present. Her unparalleled dynamism and energy added a distinct touch to the project, accentuating its uniqueness,” Pawel says about the production.

“We’re a good fit,” says the three-time French Open champion. Wojciech Grzegorski, Brand Director Porsche Poland, adds: “Iga reflects the spirit of Porsche impeccably – athletic emotions, striving for perfection, the joy of triumphs in sports arenas and masses of fans all over the world.”

The breakthrough of this exceptional athlete into the top echelon came in 2020 when she won the French Open. In the two years that followed, she gradually climbed the world rankings, firmly demonstrating that her first Grand Slam win would mark just the beginning of a very big career. On 4 April, 2022, she became No. 1 in the world – only to go on and win again two months later at Roland Garros.
