TIER e-scooter campaign, SPOTIFY superheroes podcast and CARI fashion by Timotheus THEISEN c/o DOUBLE T PHOTOGRAPHERS
Timotheus THEISEN is a new entry at DOUBLE T PHOTOGRAPHERS. We present you his successful campaign for the e-scooter TIER ‘Change mobility for good’, photographed in Barcelona, and fashion for fashion brand CARI.
For the agency DOJO and Spotify, he shot portraits of Frederik Lau for a podcast and ‘Batman Among the Dead’. The production is the first in a partnership which Spotify has entered into with Warner Bros. and DC Comics. For the streaming service, it is the biggest launch of a new podcast to date.
Photographer Timotheus Theisen was first introduced to a 35mm Contax camera from the 1980s by his dad at the age of thirteen. In a five-hour session at the kitchen table, he learned everything about shutter speed, exposure and film speeds. Building on these basics, Tim took his camera on trips with Youth Scouts to Berlin’s surrounding forests and uploaded his output to MySpace. As a result, he gained a bit of fame, attracting the attention of a few local bands. Soon, he was shooting shows across town. After assisting a well-established commercial photographer in Hamburg, he landed a job as junior photographer at an auction house, helping establish the company’s catalogue department. Four years later, the company went out of business. It was then that Tim started his career as a freelance photographer. Now, Tim works for clients around the globe but also produces and exhibits his own creative work. Today, he is based in Berlin and Paris, and his main focus is on people & lifestyle as well as fashion & beauty photography.
