‘Clean Mobility’ – WOLFRAM SCHROLL photographs the visual language for exhaust gas purification and acoustic system specialist PUREM by Eberspächer and the agency Brainfactory
“Purem by Eberspächer. As a specialist in exhaust technology and acoustic solutions we are shaping the clean and quiet mobility of the future.” The Eberspächer Group with headquarters in Esslingen am Neckar is an internationally operating automotive supplier with 80 locations in 28 countries worldwide. Among the customers are almost all major passenger car and utility vehicle manufacturers.
For the new global PUREM by Eberspächer brand identity, industrial photographer WOLFRAM SCHROLL was commissioned. In close cooperation with lead agency Brainfactory from Stuttgart, a new visual language was developed for PUREM following extensive preparations.
Wolfram Schroll : “And that in the times of Corona, between the first tests, location checks and the actual shoots, almost eight months passed. Then we were able to realize the desired material in two days thanks to great preparation – all while working non-stop in three shifts. The client was happy, the agency and photographer, too. That’s how it’s supposed to be.”
The Eberspächer Gruppe is among the worldwide leading system developers and suppliers in the areas of exhaust technology, vehicle heaters and air-conditioning systems, as well as automotive electronics. The company was founded in 1865 by Jakob Eberspächer in Esslingen am Neckar as a workshop for roof glazing and then moved to its present headquarters in 1914. In 1917, a factory in Leipzig was added through acquisition of a further company.
The ‘Exhaust Technology’ division of the Eberspächer Group has been operating under the brand Purem by Eberspächer since 2021. By doing so, the automotive supplier strengthened the operational independence of the area and expanded opportunities for global cooperation with other companies.
