“I love the night shift. Photographing late in the evening and at night. When it somehow becomes quieter in the factories but still everyone is focused on their work. A very special kind of working environment.
Often quite a blessing for photography. Everything appears a bit more exciting, immersed in all sorts of light sources. Traces of light from trucks or transport within the plant, the last twilight in the sky. And immersed in deep shadow, the factories and plants are often transformed into aesthetic sculptures of modern industrial technology.” says photographer Wolfram Schroll.
Wolfram Schroll is specialized in industrial and corporate topics, and presents us his nightshift photography here on GoSee from a recycling plant on the Weser, a chemical plant in northern Italy and a cement plant in Westphalia or even functional buildings for logistics or modern architecture in Berlin.
His photography takes him into every area of the industry imaginable : Steel, mechanical engineering, chemical, electrical engineering, aerospace, research and medical technology. He works for small family businesses and medium-sized companies just as gladly as he does for international corporations in Germany, Europe – and sometimes a little further away.
