Bettina THEUERKAUF is now represented by Julia Waldmann. Important to her throughout her work is an authentic photographic style. The interplay of light and shadow, and the adaptation of new perspectives magically attract the photographer born in Romania. For her, photography serves as a tool which enables her to analyze, and thus better understand, the environment around her.
“Always looking for something; that describes me quite well. I have a wide range of interests, and photography helps me to quench my curiosity about so many different topics, which then flow into my professional work. I am a photographer, I am a mother, I am a fighter, I am a student – and hopefully all of the above for the rest of my life,” the photojournalist says in an interview with TruePicture.
In 2013, Bettina Theuerkauf graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Media Technology with a focus on media design. Since that time, she has been working as a freelance photographer for clients such as DIE ZEIT, Zeit Magazin, Der Spiegel, GEO Magazine, Focus Magazine, Goodsports Magazine, She’s Mercedes and many more.
