“Rock-solid Principles & Immortal Values.” is the slogan of the E.S.A., Combat and Security Training Academy from Wrocław, Poland. “When a life story becomes a brand… In 2013, we manufactured a series with a single model of a blouse for ESA students. Then we came up with an idea to revolutionize traditional military style. This is how our conceptual store came to life, completely transforming our students’ look.” The campaign shows you the latest ESA.CØ.Unit collection and was created in cooperation between 247 Studio and ESA.CØ.Unit : “The inspiration for this campaign comes from urban fashion, high-tech and tactical wear.”
The campaign was photographed by PAWEL FABJANSKI. CD was 247 founder Oskar Podolski, with styling by Andrzej Sobolewski, and in front of the camera stood Pawel Polak and Bartlomiej Bugi Gallas.
E.S.A. has been conducting training for students from 68 countries all over the globe since 1992. So far, they have trained more than 5000 students, for whom it marked the beginning of a brilliant life adventure or security career. In 1992, Dr. Andrzej Bryl founded the Special Training Center in Poland, the first professional facility of this type in Eastern and Central Europe. The Center trains special forces individuals using Dr. Bryl’s unique BAS-3 combat system. In order to meet the growing demand for state-of-the-art expert protection and shooting training, the Special Training Center was transformed in 2008 into the European Security Academy. Today – with over 25 years of experience – the ESA is an authority in the field of security and protection.
247 Studio : “Work on the project began in 2019. The owners of the specialized combat training academy, who ran a shop offering souvenirs from the courses, wanted to create a brand specialized in the production and sale of tactical clothing. We were invited to design the visual identity of a new military brand and the aforementioned clothing collection. During almost one and a half years of cooperation, the original scope has strongly evolved. In addition to the visual identification system and the key visual, we have also designed over 60 projects with various types of clothing.
Each element of the collection was produced from scratch by Polish manufacturers, which allowed us to decide on the appearance of even the smallest details. The visual identity uses a modified typeface redesigned in collaboration with the developers of TypeType. In addition to the shapes themselves, we also designed proprietary zipper pullers or velcro-taped elastomers for the comfortable use of clothing with tactical gloves.
Months of work on the production of samples, the selection of decoration technology, accessories, packaging and many other additions resulted in the premiere of the brand on an e-commerce platform designed by us. For promotional purposes, we also held three photo sessions – for pack shots, product sessions with the use of models made by Hiday Studio, and an image session with photographer Paweł Fabjański, for which the scenery was created by Ukwiał Ukwiał – the effects of which can be seen in the online store.”
