Markus Mueller photographs the new Xmas campaign for OTTO entitled 'Everything goes on Christmas' with authentically imperfect Xmas moments on commission for Heimat

With elaborately produced and atmospheric motifs, Markus Mueller photographed the Christmas campaign of online retailer OTTO this year, demonstrating humorously what can all go wrong over the holidays. The slogan "Everything goes on Christmas", developed by the advertising agency Heimat, doesn't lack the emotional and dreamy moments in the true spirit of the festivities.

Photos were shot in parallel to the TV commercials in Sofia/Bulgaria and the surrounding area. Production was taken care of by GoSee member Element E. Responsible from Heimat were Creative Director Arne Stach and Art Buyer Julia Indra Wenzel. "OTTO was among the first brands in Germany to successfully use emotional Christmas spots.

Meanwhile, but not only on Christmas – a lot of brands have hopped onto this bandwagon and now create their own spots with a lot of sentimentality and idealism; the way Christmas has to be celebrated. This year's OTTO Christmas campaign would like to take the edge off with lightness and humor," Alexander Rohwer, Head of Strategy & Brand at OTTO, explains.
