WE! SHOOT IT, Michael Compensis & Thomas von Salomon, photograph a personal landscape project in Scotland and England’s Lake District
Last year, the two photographers from WE! SHOOT IT c/o KELLY KELLERHOFF were drawn to the solitude of the highlands in northern Scotland as well as the Lake District, where they photographed a personal landscape project off the beaten tourist routes.
“It all meant oftentimes getting up early and above all: waiting, waiting and more waiting! Sometimes, we even had to come back a few days later because the weather was simply ‘too good’ to capture the typical Scottish colorfulness,” Thomas tells GoSee. Photos were often shot with extremely long exposure times to depict the flowing water and cloud movement in greater detail.
Post production was taken care of by the duo personally once they got back to Germany, and they present you a larger selection of their motifs for the first time exclusively on GoSee!
