VDM METALS develops materials for the future. To this end, the company builds upon experience and innovation, customer focus and reliability. It is among the worldwide leading suppliers of materials in all semifinished forms. Whenever classical stainless steels have reached their limits, alloys are often the only solution. Industrial photographer WOLFGANG SCHROLL has been working for VDM METALS already for more than ten years, and has now photographed for the new customer magazine on the recurring topic of ‘Recruiting’.
“New materials for future technologies require investments in new machinery and plants. Such as the new crane in the new smelting plant in Unna. Because you can’t do anything if you don’t have a crane. It carries the ladles with the liquid steel. Or photographs of the labs where the new materials are tested. And, of course, the people who keep it all up and running. Like in a smelting plant, around the clock, all year long.” Wolfram tells GoSee.
Year after year, VDM Metals is one of the best apprenticing companies in Germany, which has been shown as the result of a scientific study initiated by Focus Money and Deutschlandtest.
TECHNOLOGY – shot with Love. That’s the maxim of industrial photographer WOLFRAM SCHOLL. “My photography work brings me into contact with almost any industrial sector you can imagine: Steel working, metal processing, mechanical engineering, chemical plants, power plants, aerospace, research and medical technology. I like taking photographs for smaller family-run companies just as much as for international corporations, in Germany, throughout the rest of Europe and occasionally further away.”
