Photographer and director TORSTEN KLINKOW staged the new FORD GT40 Heritage Edition in a modern visual language.
The Ford GT40 Heritage Edition is an exclusive special edition paying tribute to the rich history and the legacy of the legendary GT40. This limited model – with a remarkable price tag of around 1.3 million euros – embodies the timeless elegance and pioneering performance for which the GT40 is revered.
FORD revealed the latest version of the iconic GT supercar to the press in October, 2018. It was marketed as the intermediate option between the standard GT and the vehicles of the Competition Series. Similar to the standard GT, potential buyers had to apply if they wanted to purchase one of these rare cars.
The name Heritage Edition is a reference to the victory of the first model at the legendary 1966 Daytona 24 Hour Continental. That same year, the Ford GT40 would go on to end Ferrari’s dominance, sweeping the top three places at 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Strictly limited, the Ford GT40 Heritage Edition is much more than a mere automobile – it is a tribute to an era of motorsports and a symbol of precision craftsmanship.
